The Broadway Theater District is only a small part of Midtown Manhattan, running from 40th St to 53rd St and from 6th Ave to 8th Ave. There are 41 professional theaters with 500 or more seats. To be considered a Broadway theater, a venue must have 500 or more seats and be located between 40th and 53rd Streets, 6th and 8th Avenues. There are more tha 140 museums, miles of paths to walk and even some ferrys to get you to other great places to see. Whether your interests are in music or museums, you will find many things to do in the big apple.
