New York is known as the city that never sleeps. More than 8 million people reside here. Of those people, there are more than 800 languages spoken, making it the most lingually diverse city in the whole world. NYC is also known for its infamous foods. There is ALOT more food in NYC than cheesecake, hot dogs, pizza and bagels. Below there is a link for some of the top places to eat.

Broadway is the live theater district in Manhattan. Its famous for musicals and plays. The Broadway Theater District is only a small part of Midtown Manhattan, running from 40th St to 53rd St and from 6th Ave to 8th Ave. There are 41 professional theaters with 500 or more seats. To be considered a Broadway theater, a venue must have 500 or more seats and be located between 40th and 53rd Streets, 6th and 8th Avenues. There are more tha 140 museums, miles of paths to walk and even some ferrys to get you to other great places to see. Whether your interests are in music or museums, you will find many things to do in the big apple.

What is the Statue of Liberty?

The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States and is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. It was designated as a National Monument in 1924.

With its neon lights and billboards, Times Square is New York's most famous landmark and is the liveliest area in the city, located at the intersection of Broadway and 7th Avenue. In Times Square you will find bars, restaurants, theatres, museums and a great atmosphere.

What is Times Square?

Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment hub, and neighborhood in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It is formed by the junction of Broadway, Seventh Avenue, and 42nd Street. Together with adjacent Duffy Square, Times Square is a bowtie-shaped space five blocks long between 42nd and 47th Streets.
